🎄My 2023 Career Successes
I became an ADHD and product management coach.
I made my first dollar 3 months after I started coaching. 3 months before that, I didn’t know that ADHD coaching existed.
I created my category of ADHD coaching by combining my skills as a former clinical attention researcher and product manager.
90% of my clients are people of color, LGBTQIA+, or minorities.
I helped 4 neurodiverse clients find new jobs despite the competitive job market.
My clients span 3 continents - North America, Europe and Asia.
I co-founded Common Ritual Whiskey, one of the few Asian American and neurodiverse-led whiskey companies in the US.
I’ve had 3 product releases and have sold out of everything we’ve released.
I’m proud that our primary partner distiller cares just as much about paying a living wage, sustainable agriculture, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and making great whiskey as I do.
I’m proud to expand the path of diversity of whiskey set by Fawn Weaver and Uncle Nearest.
I grew Tech Atypically to a global newsletter.
The newsletter from 38 subscribers on January 1st, 2023, to 737 subscribers as of December 21st, 2023.
This includes 8 paid subscribers.
Tech Atypically is read in 38 US states and 49 countries.
37% of my readers are not based in the United States.
Besides direct marketing, Reddit and Substack have been my biggest drivers of subscribers.
